Welcome
to our website. And welcome to our Worship. Our Church – dedicated
to the Northumbrian King Oswald (martyred in AD 642) – has
stood on its site in the Town Centre of Oswestry, Shropshire,
for almost 1000 years, and maybe longer. Our Church is open
daily for visitors throughout the year. We are always
pleased to welcome visitors to Worship that is of a traditional
ethos. Our spacious building lends itself to fine processing
and ordering of liturgy: a highly competent choir uphold
the English tradition: a peal of eight bells rings across
the town to call the faithful to Church. We
seek to minister God’s love to those who have needs
in whatever way is appropriate. The building of a shared
Ordained and Lay
ministry team will enable diverse personalities and talents
to be used in meeting all sorts of needs. May Almighty God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bless and preserve you in all
your endeavours.
